Episode 1: Welcome to Washington

Independent Sector launches 100 Days for Good with a discussion on how the charitable sector can use this podcast. Our hosts, Kristina Gawrgy Campbell and Jamie Tucker, walk through what we should expect from inauguration week and welcome our first guest, Kyle Lierman. Kyle was the senior associate director of public engagement and senior policy advisor in the White House Office of Public Engagement during the Obama Administration. In our first podcast, he gives us the real behind the scenes look at what really happens when a new Administration takes over and calls on organizations and individuals in the charitable community to continue engaging with the new Administration and local, state, and federal policymakers.
